Monday Makeover–Dessert!


These are the most delightful little chocolate bites you will ever not feel guilty about eating. They taste like a German-chocolate-cake-truffles. They have no refined sugars, no added fats, no gluten, and tons of fiber. My wife discovered the recipe from one of her favorite healthy food blogs, A few notes on the recipe, we always triple or quadruple it for our family. Sometimes the mixture does not stick together like a ball so if you add a few tablespoons of water it does the trick (especially if your dates are drier).We also usually sub almonds for the pecans. We prefer to eat them straight from the freezer! Try substituting these for your next sweet craving, and i’m warning you that you will start buying dates in bulk :).
